By phone

Call the number printed on the back of the card and follow the prompts to enter the card number and PIN.

Where to Buy Olive Garden Gift Cards

Physical cards are sold at the host stand in every restaurant and on gift card racks at supermarkets, pharmacies and warehouse clubs. eGift cards are sold on olivegarden.com and delivered by email within minutes, in any amount from a few dollars up; they can be printed or shown on a phone. Bulk and corporate orders are handled through Darden's gift card program.

Gift Card, eGift and Bonus Card Compared

Three different cards carry the Olive Garden name and they behave differently at the till. This table is the short version.

Where the Card Works

Olive Garden gift cards are Darden gift cards, so they are accepted at Olive Garden, LongHorn Steakhouse, Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen, Yard House, The Capital Grille, Seasons 52, Bahama Breeze and Eddie V's. They pay for dine in, ToGo and online orders at olivegarden.com and in the app, and they cannot be used on third party delivery apps.

Holiday Bonus Card Promotions

Most years from November through December, Olive Garden offers a bonus card with gift card purchases above a set amount, usually a ten dollar bonus for every fifty dollars bought. Bonus cards are valid only in the new year, typically January through early March, and carry blackout dates around Valentine's Day. Terms are printed on the bonus card and on the coupons page when the promotion runs.

Fees, Expiry and Lost Cards

Olive Garden gift cards do not expire and carry no dormancy fees. A lost physical card can be replaced only with the original receipt and card number, so photograph the back of the card when you buy it. eGift cards can be resent from the purchase confirmation email.

When a Gift Card Is Declined

  • Cards bought at a store must be activated at the register; ask for the activation receipt.
  • The PIN is under a scratch off panel; a damaged panel needs a call to the card number on the back.
  • Third party delivery apps do not accept Darden cards; order through olivegarden.com or the app instead.
  • Bonus cards have date restrictions; check the valid dates printed on the card.

Quick Summary

  • Check balances online, by phone, in the restaurant or in the app.
  • Buy in restaurants, at retailers or as eGifts on olivegarden.com.
  • Valid at all Darden restaurants; not on third party delivery apps.
  • No expiry, no fees; holiday bonus cards have their own dates.
